1. Where do I purchase tickets? 

Tickets can be purchased online via this Eventbrite link

2. How much are tickets? 

Tickets are $10 online, and $15 at the gate. Children under 12 are FREE. Online ticket sales end September 15th at 4pm.

3. What's the benefit of buying tickets online? 

Online tickets are only $10, and include a FREE souvenir mason jar. If you purchase your ticket at the gate, you will have to purchase a mason jar on arrival for the price of one ticket $4.  

4. What is a "Pay it Forward" Ticket? 

A "Pay it Forward" ticket purchase will go to a client at one of our 35 community partner agencies. The cost of this ticket includes their $10 entry fee, two TTC tokens, and one food and one drink ticket for them. These tickets do not include your own admission to the event. If you would like to attend as well, please purchase an Adult ticket. 

5. Where do I purchase food and drink tickets? 

Food and drink tickets are for sale at the event. All proceeds from food and drink sales support Not Far From The Tree's picking and sharing program. You can pay for food and drink tickets with cash or debit. Unfortunately we will not be able to accept credit. 

6. What kind of payment do you accept? 

Cash is easiest, but we also have debit machines available on site. 

7. I can't make it anymore! Is my ticket refundable? 

All sales are final, no exchanges and no refunds can be issued.


8. What does City Cider support? 

City Cider is our annual fundraiser to support our fruit picking and sharing program. All proceeds from City Cider go directly to supporting this programming, which goes towards training volunteer pickers, maintaining our fruit picking equipment sets, and materials for hosting preserving workshops with our 35 community partners. 

9. Is there parking at the event?

There is no parking available on site. We encourage transit, walking or biking! But if you must drive there is paid parking at Casa Loma and George Brown or free parking at the Toronto Archives (255 Spadina Rd).

10. Is the event all ages? 

Yes! The event is all ages. Hard cider can only be purchased by those 19+. We have plenty of games and activities for kids - they will have a great time!

11. Are there non-alcoholic beverages available? 


12. Can I bring my dog? 

Yes! The event is dog-friendly! Please make sure to pick up after your pup. 

13. Can I go into the Spadina Museum? 

Yes! Tours of the Spadina Museum are included with your ticket! Definitely be sure to check out the house - it is amazing inside!

14. Is the event accessible? 

Yes, the Spadina Museum Historic House & Gardens is wheelchair accessible. Visitors can be dropped off at the museum entrance (there is no parking on site but parking is available at Casa Loma) and there is an elevator that accesses all levels of the museum and the bathrooms. If you have concerns about accommodations that may be required, please contact us. 

15. What happens if it rains?

City Cider will happen rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather! 

16. Can I leave and come back into the event? 

Yes. If you are leaving the grounds and plan to return, please check in with the registration table at the front gate to get a stamp.

17. I'm concerned about wasps on site.

St. John's ambulance will be on-site to address any first aid issues and the odd bee sting! The best thing to do is avoid swatting at wasps and let them "bee"! 

18. Is there a hashtag to follow your event?
